How do I enroll my child?
All enrollments are done on our website – www.southcountysports.com via your parent portal. We cannot enroll someone over the phone without a parent account already set-up on the website.

When is my monthly tuition fee due?
Monthly tuition is due on the FIRST of the month. You have until the 10th of the month to make your payment. Payments not received by the 10th will incur a $10 late fee, per child registered. If you fall more than two months behind on your monthly fees, you may not participate until your fees are paid in full.
How can I make my payments?
SoCo offers online autopay or in person payments by cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). If you would like to set-up autopay, you may do so online through your parent portal, or you can call us at the front desk and we can help you over the phone. *Please note that a $35 fee will be charged on any returned check.

What does my child need to wear to class?
Gymnastics students - Girls should wear a one-piece leotard – no tights or anything on the feet. Boys should wear comfortable clothing such as sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt (bare feet).
Tumbling students – Girls should wear a leotard or a T-shirt leggings/shorts and – no tights or anything on the feet. Clothing should be form fitting and not baggy. Boys should wear comfortable clothing such as sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt (bare feet).
Ninja – T-shirt leggings/shorts and – no tights or anything on the feet. Clothing should be form fitting and not too baggy.
Cheer students - Students should wear fitted T-Shirt and shorts. Clean, dry sneakers should be worn for cheer practices. All clothing must be appropriate for children (appropriate referring to style, slogans and graphics). SoCo is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Can my child wear jewelry to class?
Stud earrings are fine to wear, but no necklaces, bracelets, rings or any other jewelry may be worn to classes.
What should my daughter do with her hair?
Hair should be secured back out of the student’s face into a ponytail or braid.
Does my child need to attend all of his or her classes?
In order to give your child the best chance for success, their attendance is very important. We realize that occasionally children need to attend special social functions or will need time for extra homework. If your child will miss class, please give us a call or send us an email and let us know.
Can our monthly fee be prorated if we miss class or if the month doesn’t have four classes?
Tuition is based on an average of four weeks per month. Some months there will be five classes. The fifth class will replace the short months due to holiday breaks. Please see our closure schedule for the planned list of dates we will be closed. Make-ups nor credits are offered for these specific weeks as all months even out.
If my child misses a class, can we do a make-up class?
SoCo has a strict student : coach ratio, therefore we are not able to make-up classes. There is not credit or refund given for missed classes.
Do I need to enroll each month?
Once you are enrolled, you stay enrolled until you let us know in writing (email is fine) that you are dropping, or the end of the session. School year sessions run mid-August through May. Summer sessions are monthly. Please see schedule for summer session dates.
Can I drop my child off early or pick them up late?
SoCo is not equipped to supervise children before and after class. Please be sure your child arrives no earlier than 5 minutes before his/her scheduled class time. Please pick your child up on time.
What happens if I am late picking up my child?
Please call the gym and let the front desk know if you will be late. If you are 15 minutes late, a $15 late fee will be charged to your account. SoCo does not have the additional staff to watch your child after practice.

May I watch my child’s class?
SoCo allows parents to watch recreational classes from the upstairs parent viewing area. Parents are not allowed on the gymnastics floor at any time. Parents should understand that if they watch each day, it is sometimes hard to see progress that slowly comes over years of practice. * Practice observation of the SoCo competitive teams will be at the discretion of the coach.
What if I need to talk to my coach about my child?
Please let the front desk know that you would like to talk to the Rec Director. She will help you with your concerns or questions. Parents are not allowed on the floor to address coaches per USAG safety regulations.
